Guoyan Culture and Media Inc. is a state-owned enterprise authorized by Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC) and State Administration for Industry & Commerce (SAIC) and initiated by DRC’s affiliated entity. It serves as a communication platform and marketing window for DRC to build new think tanks with Chinese characteristics. Its total registered capital stands at 100 million RMB yuan. DRTT (Development Research Think Tank of China) is a registered trademark approved by Trademark Office of SAIC in Oct, 2015 and operated by Guoyan Culture and Media Inc..

DRC is a policy research and consulting institution directly under the State Council, the central government of the People's Republic of China. It is mainly responsible for conducting follow-up and advanced study on strategic, forward-looking and challenging national economic and social development issues and providing policy recommendations and advice to the CPC Central Committee and the State Council. Currently, DRC is making its utmost efforts to build “High-quality Think Tanks with Chinese Characteristics”, required by President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang.

Guoyan Culture and Media Inc. is a state-owned enterprise directly under the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC). Our business covers publishing, multi-media productions and digital services, film and television making and production, conference and exhibition, think tank and cultural industry park, etc. In addition, our company conducts policy research and consulting focusing on the concept of “Think Tank” by utilizing China’s leading think tank DRC’s advantages.

We have been actively implementing DRC’s strategy to “Build New Think Tanks with Chinese Characteristics” since the company was founded. Our detailed business is as follows:

Research and consulting on economic and social development, including project research entrusted by social organizations, national policy interpretations and project declaration consulting;

Media and publishing, including new book planning and releasing, magazine and journal production;

Digital new media, including China Think Tank Series, DRTT website, digital books and online platform, production of animation, microfilms and 3D movies;

Big data services, including forecast research for industry development, Big Data R & D Center and public opinion monitoring;

Conference and exhibition, including Development Research Think Tank Forum of China· Annual Conference, Development Research Think Tank Forum of China· New Year Forum, DRTT Monthly or Local Forum and DRTT International Dialogue;

Operation of China Think Tank Innovation and Science Park (CTTISP);

Education and training, including DRTT Institute, 3D and 4D production training, information and public security training as well as talents training in culture and creative industry;

Our company is licensed as the High and New Tech Enterprise by Zhongguancun Science Park. Up to now, we have provided research and consulting services for DRC and the other ministries, local governments and private companies. Premier Li Keqiang, Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli, Yang Jing, Secretary-General of the State Council and other high-level officials once wrote instructions and comments on related projects conducted by DRTT.
